  1. What is the price range of a shifting service?

Poshora provides an estimate after conducting an initial assessment with our Service Providers at your location. We collect the basic details over a phone call to give you an estimated range, and then confirm the pricing only after our Service Provider visits and includes your preferences at your location at the initial assessment. 


2. What details do I need to provide for booking a home or office shifting assessment with Poshora? 

To ensure we can provide pricing information accurately and swiftly, we request you have the following information available at the time of inquiring/ booking your home or office shifting service with our Poshora Customer Service officer over call or through Poshora website/ app : 

1) updated contact information; 2) type of shifting service required; 3) approximate service date; 4) location – pick up and drop off;  5) approximate volume of items and furniture; 6) approximate area requiring shifting; 5) type of transport (e.g. van/pick-up/ truck); 6) any other special requirements or information

3. Does Poshora provide packing material? 

Poshora’s Service Providers use your preferred material for the shifting service. At the time of assessment, please indicate the packing material you require (e.g. paper, cardboard, jute, bubble wrap, etc.).


4. Is Poshora’s Home and Office Shifting Service available outside Dhaka? 

Yes – Poshora provides home and office shifting services across all areas in Dhaka, in addition to coverage outside Dhaka (to/from Dhaka, in other districts, inter-district)


5. What type of transport is available for shifting? 

Poshora provides various types of vehicle and transport support for your move – manual vans, pick-up vans, and trucks – based on your requirements. After the initial assessment, Poshora’s Shifting service providers will recommend the most suitable transport, based on the volume of furniture and other items assessed. 


6. How do I make the payment?

You can pay online through Bkash, Rocket, Nagad, and/or Bank payment through cards. Cash after service is also available.


7. Should I directly pay the Service Provider after service? 

We strongly encourage making the payment online through Poshora after service to ensure transparency and traceability of your service completion and payment. Directly paying the Service Provider is also an option. Please ask for the invoice from the Service Provider after payment. 


8. Do I have to pay if I cancel my Home and Office Shifting service booking? 

No – we only charge if you decide to take the service with Poshora. If our service provider completes the initial assessment and you change your mind, or if you decide to cancel your service after the Service Provider arrives at the pre-agreed scheduled time, we request that you provide the conveyance charge (usually BDT 100 – 200) to the service provider for their visit.

9. Do I need to pay in advance before the assigned job is done?

Not at all. You will pay only after your job is completed to your satisfaction.
